On 15 January 2026, the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of Iraq in Paris organised a working morning to present to French companies the country’s investment needs, as well as the main aspects of the laws and regulations governing investment in Iraq.
This meeting, opened by the President of the CCFA, Mr Raoul Delamare, saw the participation of the Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Iraq, Mr Thair Al-Jumali, the representative of Iraqi Kurdistan at the Embassy, Mr Ali Dolamari, the commercial attaché for economic affairs, Mr Al Rubaye, as well as the legal affairs adviser of the Franco-Iraqi Business Council, Dr Ahmed Dawood.
More than a hundred French companies had registered for this meeting, notably with a view to a French presence at the Baghdad International Fair in early February.
