About the CCFA
Established on 8 December 1970, the CCFA is a cornerstone of the framework governing French-Arab economic and commercial relations. Created at the initiative of the League of Arab States and a former minister under General de Gaulle, the CCFA is built on a strictly equal, joint institutional basis—the source of both its distinctiveness and its strength—through its partnership with the economic organisations of the Arab countries. It operates under French law and is governed by the 1901 Associations Act.
