The President of the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce, Mr Vincent Reina, welcomed for a business breakfast, on Wednesday 5 February, Her Excellency Ms Samira Sitail, Ambassador to France of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.
Before nearly a hundred participants, the Ambassador set out the main thrusts of the Kingdom of Morocco’s strategy in response to the major challenges it faces: water, infrastructure, territorial development and sectoral strategies. Morocco has thus become a prime investment destination — more than 1.6 billion euros of FDI in 2024 — thanks to its strategic vision and the course it has set, underpinned by quality infrastructure such as the Tanger Med port and the high-speed rail line, as well as a skilled, multilingual workforce. In this context she was able to evoke major upcoming milestones such as the Football World Cup and the Africa Cup of Nations.
She emphasised the leading role her country plays within the African continent, but also within the MENA region, as a genuine regional hub, with strong institutional stability, quality infrastructure and an investment-friendly regulatory framework.
Finally, she stressed the new chapter of the privileged and exceptional strategic partnership that France and Morocco must now write together.
