At the invitation of President Vincent Reina, the Franco-Arab Chamber of Commerce hosted a working breakfast on Wednesday 25 October with H.E. Mr Khaled Kagigi, Ambassador of Libya to France.
The messages he delivered were particularly clear:
— French companies must seize the many opportunities Libya offers in agriculture, agri-food, energy, health, training, consumer goods and more;
— the Libyan private sector is developing and is seeking partners, not only to grow within Libya but also across Africa;
— waiting until Libya’s difficulties are resolved means leaving the field to other partner powers: China, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates.
In a word: “it is high time for French companies to come and do business in Libya”!
